Stoneware, made slowly.
A two-person pottery studio. We throw, trim and glaze every piece ourselves and fire in small batches, a few times a month.
Studio
Our everyday range is plain on purpose: bowls, mugs, plates and a few oddly shaped vases. Glazes are mixed in-house from local clay, ash and a little iron, so no two batches are identical.
Notes
- Glaze test #41 — a softer celadon over the speckled body; promising, needs a longer cool-down.
- Kiln log — the autumn firing ran four hours over; we are rethinking the stacking.
- Workshops — beginner evenings resume in the new year, eight seats each.
Orders are currently paused while we restock. Thank you for your patience.
Visit
The studio is open to visitors on the first Saturday of the month, by appointment only.
